If there is a God

If there is a God
Would He not be sovereign?
What could you and I do for Him?
What can a little child do for an adult?
Is the child not helpless?
What wouldn't a loving adult do for a helpless child?
One he loves?
If there is a God
Would He have created us?
And if He created us
Helpless children
What would He not do for us?
For God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son
So that all who put their complete trust in Him shall partake in the everlasting peace in His glorious presence.
For we are
helpless
Egomaniacs
Liars
Thieves and deceivers
Hate-mongers and dirty fighters
Unfaithful and merciless
Angry and self-righteous stubborn mules
We steal, lie, hurt and kill
We gorge in food and luxury
and go to bed full and satisfied
But we do as good as we can - right
There is a God - just one
And He is good
He is a sovereign God
Who far surpasses us and our abilities
We are like little children
Lost and alone
Helpless
And full of all kinds of evil
But as the good God He is
He loves us
And has done all to free us
From our own
helplessness
Egotism
Hurt
Evil
For He made us
With love
With a choice between loving Him
Or not
There is a place
Where teeth are gnashed
There is a place
Where the lake of sulfur is burning
And there is a place
Where the light never goes out
Where the water of life runs freely
Where we can take place in an unimaginable happiness
Without end
Love requires choice
Love requires free will to choose
The choice is yours
But know that not all choices are the same
And that your life on Earth will end
Your choice here on Earth
Determines your life after the first death
If there is a God
Would He not make Himself known?
How would a sovereign God
Make Himself known
But still leave the choice to you?
Would He make Himself known to a few?
Would He prepare the circumstances so that the few cared for the knowledge
Until it was spread to all nations?
Would He let time work to His purpose?
Would He make Himself unremarkable
For those who haven't chosen Him?
Would He reveal Himself 
To those who have?
There is a God
And He has an adversary
One who uses lies and
half truths
Who sounds tempting
Who doesn't care about
Love
the true kind
Free will
Who promotes our
Egotism
Pit us against each other
Who rejoices when we are unfaithful
When we quarrel and hate each other
When we forget that there is a God
When what is wrong is is deemed perfectly OK
When what is right is considered wrong
When people say that only idiots believe in
God
But it is the adversary and his followers that
will wind up in the lake of burning sulfur.
There is a God
And the choice is clear.
He called me
I have experienced Him
I have been given a glimpse of His
incredible glory
I constantly see how He answers
me when I seek answers
He has given me a life
That is beyond this life
As a citizen of the Kingdom
Where He lives
There is a God
and the choice is simple
There is a God
Where will you go when you die
Where will you wind up if you die tonight?
There is a God
Have you found Him?
