Truth and Consequence

He showed me a coin and said
It is a two-headed coin
They said no it is not
It is a penny
We all agreed it was a penny
A brown Lincoln penny.
Someone said there aren't any two-headed coins
She'd bet her life on it
Then he turned the coin and showed us the other head
It was a two-headed coin
But nobody lost their life over it
It wasn't a real bet

He said there's a wreck around the curve
And I slowed down
There was no wreck
But I wasn't going to bet my life on it
Really

He said there is one God
And they said we don't believe
He said there is a Heaven
And there is a Hell
And they said we don't believe
He said believe or spend eternity in Hell
He said whosoever believes in Him who the Father sent will have eternal life
And no one gets to the Father except through Him
Your alternative is Hell and eternal suffering
I said I believe
Do you believe
Are you willing to bet your life for real - your eternal life

Heaven or Hell?
Your choice.
Truth is truth, not a majority opinion.
And this Truth truly has a consequence.
